High-molecular weight unsaturated carboxylic acid. Acts as a dispersing agent. Helps to prevent interfacial tension between the hydrophilic pigments/extenders and the binder. Advantages resulting from the poly-functional composition. Reduces dispersion time. Reduces pigment sedimentation. Prevention of flooding and floating. Provides stabilisation of the pigment dispersion.
