Efka® SI 2025

Efka® SI 2025 by BASF is a silicone-based defoamer for solvent-based coatings. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters. Efka® SI 2025 is used in solvent-based coatings such as air-drying systems based on acrylic, vinyl, or chlorinated polymers, fast drying industrial & decorative finishes based on medium to long oil alkyd resins and airless spray coatings. Its recommended dosage is 0.1 - 1.0% on total formulation.

Efka® SI 2025 is no longer available and is replaced by Efka® SI 2041.
