Rheovis® PE 1320 NC

Rheovis® PE 1320 NC (Old name: DSX® 2000) by BASF is a polyether solution in water/ butyldiglycol. Used as a newtonian rheology modifier for aqueous coatings. Improves high brush drag (ICI viscosity). It can be used alone or blended with other associative thickeners to give complete control of rheological properties. Offers very good application hiding, flow and leveling properties, resistance properties and roller application and spatter resistance. Recommended as the sole thickener for coating systems containing a high hydrophobic surface area such as low pigmented, small particle size, high gloss to semi-gloss coatings. Rheovis® PE 1320 NC provides good gloss development with superior scrub and water resistance. It has a shelf life of 1 year.
