Rheovis® PU 1250

Rheovis® PU 1250 (Old Name: DSX® 1550) by BASF is a non-ionic medium pseudoplastic rheology modifier for water-based coatings. It is hydrophobic-modified polyurethane associative thickener. It is filmbuilding and shows good affinity to pigments.

• It offers improved flow & gloss, increased hiding power and wash & scrub resistances.
• It provides outstanding spatter resistance during roller application.
• Its recommended usage level is 0.2-2%.
• Rheovis® PU 1250 has a shelf life of 1 year.
