Basonat® HW 1000

Basonat® HW 1000 (old name: Basonat® HW 100) by BASF is an emulsifier-modified polyisocyanate based on isocyanurated hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Acts as a crosslinker for polymeric dispersions containing reactive OH groups. Exhibits excellent weather- & chemical resistance, and excellent adhesion to various substrates. It is low VOC, water-emulsifiable, solvent-free, aliphatic polyisocyanate. It can be mixed with many low viscosity polyisocyanates such as Basonat® HA 1000. Suitable for interior & exterior general industrial metal coating, plastic component coating, wood coatings for floor, furniture, or millwork, and automotive OEM or refinish applications. Basonat® HW 1000 is listed with DSL and WHMIS.
