AMPARMOR™ 3000 series by Autonomic materials is a microcapsule containing a blend of healing agent based on epoxy functionalized alkyd polymers, co-crosslinking agents/ enhancers and adhesion promoters. The grades are single capsule system based on oxygen-initiated cross-linking of functionalized alkyd resins. Compatible with epoxy, polyester, alkyd, urethane and acrylic resins. Offers self-healing for extended coating durability. Designed for solvent- & water-based coatings and powder coatings. The grades in this series are available in both dry and wet forms. For powder coatings, the additive should be dry blended into the formulation prior to application of the coating. Recommended dosage level of AMPARMOR™ 3000 is 7.5 %wt for maximum performance.
