DURANATE™ D201 by Asahi Kasei is a polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI). Acts as a curing agent. It is a bifunctional prepolymer with good elasticity. Offers excellent color retention and outstanding performance. Exhibits excellent weatherability, good heat-, chemical & abrasion resistance, good adhesion and drying properties. Recommended for coating applications in automotive, architectural, industrial, consumer electronic and information technology. Designed for polymerization and cross-linking of urethanes. Other applications of DURANATE™ D201 include gravure, offset and screen inks.
