EBECRYL® 170

EBECRYL® 170 by allnex is acidic acrylate-based adhesion promoter. It is designed as an additive for ultraviolet (UV) and electron beam (EB) curable coatings on metal. EBECRYL® 170 is characterized by low viscosity, acid functionality, good adhesion to metal substrates and improved reactivity. It is applied by direct or reverse roll, offset gravure, metering rod, slot die, knife over roll, air knife, curtain and immersion coating methods. The typical usage level is between 1 and 5% by weight of the total formulation. Recommended for use in general metal coatings & primers, coatings for galvanized pipes & tubes. Also used in coil coatings.
