CYMEL® 659E resin

CYMEL® 659E resin by allnex is a partially n-butylated benzoguanamine resin-based crosslinker supplied in n-butanol. It contains a combination of butoxymethyl, methylol and imino functionalities. It imparts excellent adhesion and chemical resistance to the coating, but without the need for an external catalyst in the formulation. This additive offers corrosion resistance. It shows good compatibility with acrylic-, alkyd-, polyester- and epoxy resins. CYMEL® 659E resin is effective for backbone polymer resins containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, or amide functional groups. It is used in solventborne systems, automotive- & coil coating primers, can and container coatings. The shelf life of this product is 1080 days.
