CYMEL® 232 resin

CYMEL® 232 resin by allnex is a highly alkylated methoxy butoxy melamine-formaldehyde resin-based cross-linking agent. Its high degree of alkylation and high monomer content makes it especially recommended for low VOC systems, those applications requiring high film flexibility, and those systems where recoat adhesion must be optimized. Since it is more hydrophobic, high glossy finish, good water & humidity resistant film can be achieved for anodic electrodeposition coatings. It possesses good salt-spray resistance, good flexibility, flow & leveling properties, good recoat adhesion and low free formaldehyde. CYMEL® 232 resin is recommended for general metal finishes. The shelf life of this additive is 540 days.
