CYCAT® 600A catalyst

CYCAT® 600A catalyst by allnex is an organic acid catalyst. It is recommended to accelerate the crosslinking reaction of amino resins with polymers containing hydroxyl, carboxyl, or amide functionality. Designed for can, container, general industrial and automotive coatings. It may be used as a replacement for less soluble acid catalysts, such as para-toluene sulfonic acid, in low alcohol-containing formulations. It is blocked with an appropriate amine, such as AMP (2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) for formulating of 1K systems. Complies with FDA CFR 175.300 regulation. Shelf life of CYCAT® 600A catalyst is 1080 days at 30°C.
