ADDITOL® BCPK

ADDITOL® BCPK by allnex is a radical photoinitiator blend of ADDITOL® BP and ADDITOL® CPK that can be used alone or in combination with other photoinitiators and amine co-activators. It is used in formulations containing unsaturated materials such as (meth)acrylates, vinyls and unsaturated polyesters. With exposure to UV light, ADDITOL® BCPK undergoes a photochemical reaction that generates radicals. It is characterized by good combination of surface and through cure in UV curable formulations. This grade is used at levels of 2-7% by weight based on the reactive components. Applications include overprint varnishes, clear topcoats & fillers on wood, water-based formulations including dispersion, inks and pigmented coatings. It is also suitable for paper-, plastics- and metal coatings.
