Afcona -6226

Fatty acid modified polyester. Acts as a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants and perform as color acceptance additive. Is more hydrophilic where it can dissolve in water much easy than AFCONA-6225. Thus pigment paste that based on AFCONA-6226 will gives better color strength. Offers better pigment stability, color development and lower color paste viscosity. Used in decorative paints. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: Universal colorants: 5 - 10% for inorganic pigments, 10 - 20% for organic pigments, Base-paints 0.5 - 1.5% on total based paints, Bentonites 15 - 25% on active/thickeners substance.
