Afcona -4550

Afcona -4550 by Afcona Additives is a high molecular weight, pH-independent modified polyacrylate polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance, on all type of pigments. Offers better gloss, color strength, flocculation stability and anti-flooding behavior. Does not influence the water resistance. Is complete water-soluble and does not necessary has to be neutralized. However, neutralization will improve the viscosity reduction performance. Afcona -4550 is used for decorative paints as well as resin free pigment concentrates for industrial paints.
