Afcona -4080

Afcona -4080 by Afcona Additives is high molecular weight modified polyurethane polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance, on all type of pigments. Offers improved gloss and DOI, reduced flooding problems as well as higher color strength. Afcona -4080 is designed for automotive OEM, refinishes topcoats, epoxies, coil coatings, can coatings and other high quality industrial solvent-based coatings. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2 : 2 - 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%, Organic pigments : 20 - 40%, Carbon blacks : 20 - 60%.
