Afcona -4070

Afcona -4070 by Afcona Additives is high molecular weight modified polyurethane polymer. Acts as a dispersant for deflocculation of all type of pigments. Has very good stability performance, through effective steric hindrance. Offers improved gloss and DOI, reduced flooding problems as well as higher color strength. Exhibits increased jetness of high channel carbon black. Provides better pigment stability performance and very strong viscosity depressing property. It is recommended for all baking paints especially for coil coatings. Afcona -4070 can also be used for other resin systems as long as it is compatible. Addition and dosage: Calculation method for the required amount of active ingredient on pigment: TiO2 : 2 - 3%, Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%, organic pigments : 20 - 40%, carbon blacks : 20 - 60%.
