Afcona -3777E

Fluorocarbon modified polymer. Acts as anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent. Is the better compatibility version of AFCONA 3777. Recommended as non silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. Due to the fluorocarbon modification, it gives lower surface tension than normal pure polyacrylic leveling agents and therefore it gives better anti-crater performance as well as substrate wetting. Prevents the craters and does not interfere with intercoat adhesion. Suitable for all solvent-based coatings especially for: baking paints, PU coatings and epoxies. Addition and dosage: 0.3- 2.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.3-1.0% based on total formulation.
