Afcona -3670

Fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Acts as anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. Is an improved version of AFCONA-3777 on managing surface control of coatings. It has lower surface tension than AFCONA -3777. The combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance is highly recommended. Prevents the craters. Also acts as a defoamer and de aeration aid. Do not interfere with intercoat adhesion. Suitable for all solvent based coatings, especially baking paints and PU coatings. Addition and dosage: 0.3 – 2.0% on total formulation. In general, under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.3 – 0.8% based on total formulation.
