Organically modified polysiloxane. Acts as a hydroxyl functional terminated slip and leveling agent. With the cross-linking properties it is specially designed to give permanent slip to polyurethane coatings and baking paints. Is very compatible with most systems. Therefore, it could stabilize foam. Thus, in foam sensitive systems a suitable defoamer needs to be combined. For normal conventional pressure spray, additional defoamers are not needed. Is recommended for all kind of solvent-based coatings, especially wood coatings. Addition and dosage: 0.1- 1.0% on total formulation. In general under normal conditions, the dosage is 0.2 – 0.5% based on total formulation. To prevent hand marking in PU wood coatings, the dosage needed is 1 – 3% on total formulation.
