Modified fatty acid polymer. Acts as a universal dispersing resin for preparation of water based universal pigment concentrate. Shows a good pigment wetting and stabilizing performance as well as very good compatibility with the resins most commonly used in water-based coatings. Due to the primary hydroxyl groups it is able to crosslink with stoving paints as well as polyurethane systems. Helps to provide better pigment stability and prevents drying of pigment paste on the surface as well as on the wall of the container. Contains primary OH group which can involve in cross-linking in systems like PU and baking paint. Addition and dosage: For pigment concentrate: Inorganic pigments : 4-5 times of solid dispersant, Organic pigment : 3-5 times of solid dispersant.
