Afcona -1101

Modified polyacrylate polymer. Acts as a universal dispersing resin for preparation of universal pigment concentrate. The stability and deflocculation ability of the pigment concentrate is highly depending on the selected dispersant. On the other hand, the compatibility of the pigment concentrate depends not only on the dispersant, but also on the universal resin chosen in the formulation. Offers very low concentrate viscosity and wide compatibility. Helps to provide better pigment stability. Contains primary OH groups, which can cross-link in systems like PU and baking paints. Thus, it will not act like a hard resin or plasticizer. Can reduces the mill base viscosity. Addition and dosage: For pigment concentrate: Inorganic pigments 4-5 times of solid dispersant, Organic pigment 3-5 times of solid dispersant.
