AP 1300

AP 1300 distributed by DKSH is medium-viscosity reactive, phenalkamine-epoxy resin adduct hardener solution for epoxy based lacquers and coatings. It offers good adhesion to marginally prepared surface and high level of mechanical stability.

• It exhibits rapid cure at low temperature down to 0°C (32°F).
• It shows resistance to aqueous alkaline, acid & saline solutions and good corrosion resistance.
• Due to phenolic nature of AP 1300, coatings based on it are likely to change color of the film when exposed to heat and sunlight.
• It is used in combination with liquid epoxy resins or solid epoxy resin solution or epoxy resins modified by means of reactive diluents or non-reactive diluents.
• It is suitable for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
• It is also suitable for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
• It is ideal for marine and protective coatings e.g. tank coatings, structural steel, concrete flooring etc.
• Recommended dosage level is 100 phr with epoxy resin (EEW = 190).
• AP 1300 has a shelf life of 12 months and is available in Europe.
