AP 1058

AP 1058 distributed by DKSH is low viscosity, reactive, light color phenalkamine hardener for epoxy resins based lacquers and coatings. It shows rapid cure at low temperature. It exhibits good adhesion to marginally prepared surfaces and excellent penetration in damp concrete surfaces.

• It provides high levels of mechanical stability and good corrosion resistance.
• It offers resistance to aqueous alkaline, acid and saline solutions.
• It is used in combination with liquid epoxy resins or solids epoxy resin solution or epoxy resin modified by means of reactive as well as non-reactive diluents.
• It is suitable for making high solids coating compositions with a workable wide range of pot lives.
• It is recommended for application with standard one-component airless spray systems.
• It is ideal for marine and protective coatings e.g., structural steel, concrete flooring etc.
• It is compatible to make epoxy adducts and can be used in combination with polyamides, polyamines or other hardeners.
• Recommended dosage level is 50-60 with epoxy resin (EEW=190).
• AP 1058 has a shelf life of 12 months and is available only in France.
