Epotec® TH 983

Epotec TH® 983 by Aditya Birla Chemicals is a phenolic based on epoxy resin and bisphenol-A. It acts as a curing agent and flow agent. It contains a curing accelerator and flow modifier. Also found to be fully compatible with epoxy resin. The accelerator present in the hardener promotes the reaction between epoxy and phenolic groups whereas the flow modifier present in the hardener assist in the leveling of the coating during curing. Its reactivity can be adjusted by blending it with the EPOTEC TH 981. Applications of Epotec TH® 983 by Aditya Birla Chemicals include decorative powder coatings and protective powder coatings.
