ADDAPT® BioWet™ 55L

ADDAPT® BioWet™ 55L by ADDAPT Chemicals is a VOC-free, readily biodegradable wetting-, levelling agent and open time extender. It is a proprietary blend of polyalkylene glycols in water and surface-active compounds. It possesses multifunctional nature and low tendency to foam. It is used as an excellent carrier for water-soluble chemicals that have to be placed on/in hydrophobic surfaces. It exhibits a low surface tension value under both dynamic & static conditions and a high surface energy that leads to an excellent wetting of the coating without an increase of the water absorption (low COBB value). ADDAPT® BioWet™ 55L is especially suitable for water-based lacquers, wood finishes, printing inks and overprint varnishes (OPV). The recommended dosage level is 0.05-1.5 wt% based on total formulation.
