ADDAPT® BioWet™ 25

ADDAPT® BioWet™ 25 by ADDAPT Chemicals acts as a solvent-free wetting agent. It is polyhydroxy amide in water. It offers pigment grinding efficiency and reduction of pigment particle size. Provides improved flow characteristics of both paper coatings and sizing. It improves gloss and wet-edge (open time) of emulsion paints & lacquers. It proves to be a very good carrier for water-soluble chemicals that have to be placed on/in hydrophobic surfaces. It also imparts anti-corrosion properties to ferrous substrates. ADDAPT® BioWet™ 25 is suitable for water-based paints, printing inks and overprint varnishes (OPV). It exhibits high surface energy that leads to a very good wetting of the coatings without an increase of the water absorption (low COBB value). The recommended dosage level is 0.5-2.0 wt% based on total formulation. It is readily biodegradable.
