Adhesion Promoters / Bonding Agents

Adhesion promoters/bonding agents are used as additives to promote adhesion/bonding of coatings or primers to the concerned substrate. They optimize the properties of the coating to meet several end use requirements. Organofunctional silanes, chlorinated, polyolefins, organometallic compounds, phosphates, silicones and silicone-modified polymers are some common adhesion promoters/bonding agents used in paints and coatings.
