Why should you view this course?

EU Food Contact regulation is now much more demanding. Formation of NIAS, their migration level & toxicological properties have to be investigated in details & it has to be demonstrated that despite detectable migration (above 10 µg/kg food) food will still be safe. This procedure is certainly very complex & expensive. Failure to provide sufficient data to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) can lead to rejection of your application!

  1. Efficiently characterize the migration of substances into food & identify possible NIAS for which you have to generate data

  2. Avoid rejection of application for your new food contact substance by developing an effective migration testing strategy (define petition scope, generate relevant data…)

  3. Save time & cost by well preparing and using Declarations of Compliance (DoCs) when developing food contact materials
