Active ingredients for in-can and film preservation naturally also play an important role.” One of Vink Chemicals' main focuses is the
formulation of biocides based on isothiazolinones. These substances are among the few preservatives that can be used against a large number of harmful organisms. In addition, they can be combined with one another - this prevents bacteria from developing resistance to the biocides.
For in-can and film preservation in the paint and varnish industry, Vink Chemicals has developed the active ingredients CIT / MIT, MIT and BIT on the basis of isothiazolinones, which are very efficient even in low concentrations. The biocide professionals also offer other formulations for film preservation as well as corresponding application-specific chemical additives.
In addition to these active ingredients, Vink Chemicals offers a selection of other biocide formulations in the field of technical biocides as well as oil and gas additives that are also important for the region. These include the brands PARMETOL, GROTANOL and GROTAMAR, which not only cover in-can preservation, but also e.g. B. can also be used as a microbicidal system cleaner for the rehabilitation of circulatory systems in production plants or as a preservative for the control of microbial growth in the downstream area.
