MIDSOMER NORTON, UK -- SunJet, the inkjet ink division of Sun Chemical, launched its JetStream® PCO Oil-based HD black ink for Seiko Instruments Inc. printheads at the Sino-Pack Expo 2012, Guangzhou, China.

The JetStream® PCO HD Black has been developed with high performance pigment and drop spread control technology to meet the needs for high contrast and high definition printing demanded in applications such as bar coding, stock identification and decoration.

SunJet, the leader in inkjet innovation and technology, aims to be the digital ink supplier for coding and marking applications in China. The JetStream® PCO series of inks have therefore been specially developed to address the needs of coding and marking applications by combining long nozzle open time to reduce maintenance regime and high grade pigment for long lasting marking on a wide range of porous substrates. The ink series is available in a wide range of colors.

The products are being promoted at the Sino-Pack Expo, March 7th - 9th, at the SunJet booth located in Hall 2.1 Stand Number 2961.

SunJet recognizes the importance of its relationship with printhead manufacturers, such as Seiko Instruments Inc., in order to develop drop-on-demand inkjet ink chemistries that meet the specified jetting parameters of printheads.

Thibaut Bizeul, Product Manager for JetStream® said: "Following our successful participation last year as an exhibitor at the show, Sino-Pack has become a key event for SunJet. Sino-Pack 2012 will be no exception and I look forward to showcasing our new series for Seiko printheads together with our wide range of coding and marking ink technologies. SunJet has seen significant growth in coding and marking in Asia and is recognised as a key provider of high quality CIJ and DOD inks."
