Midsomer Norton, Bath, UK -- Sun Chemical's commitment to the Screen printing industry will be cemented through the announcement of a raft of new products and product enhancements across a wide range of market segments at Fespa 2007 to be held June 5-9 in Berlin, Germany.

These will cover inks for advertising and hi-tech graphics, industrial screen and pad printing, security and brand protection, automotive, glass, sheetfed offset and digital inks as well as consumables and equipment.

First to be unveiled in the run-up to the show is the new Lüscher JetScreen DX under Sun Chemical's link-up with Lüscher. As the foremost distributor of Lüscher AG computer-to-screen (CTS) systems in the UK and Ireland, Sun Chemical plans to unveil Lüscher's new CTS development, JetScreen DX, as well as details of its complete support service.

There will be a number of product launches to expand the Streamline after-market digital range of inks covering the most popular wide-format machines, new bulk ink delivery systems, as well as eco-solvent offerings. New printer solutions, such as Sun Chemical's Project 37 UV inkjet press for optical discs, will also be part of Sun Chemical's Fespa offering.

Product launches will include a range of new universal UV curing graphic inks and a package of conductive dielectric and etch resistant inks targeted at RFID (Radio Frequency and Identification) applications such as attenae and membrane switches.

With many point of sale customers now diversifying, Sun Chemical will also be promoting its new range of sheetfed offset UV curing inks for very large format machines for the display market.

Richard Martin, Global Vice-President, Sun Chemical Screen, said: "Fespa will be the launchpad for a wide range of new inks, innovations and consumables that will reinforce our commitment and support for the Screen industry through new products and significant technological advances. These will cover a broad spectrum of markets and reinforce our position as the leading supplier to the Screen printing industry."
