Schlenk Introduces VMP-pigment Based Decomet® MirrorCoil for Chrome-like Finishes

Decomet® MirrorCoil allows an innovative optical effect to arise in the vast fields of Coil Coating applications. As it is based on a VMP-pigment (Vacuum Metallized Pigment) added to the coil coating formulation, it is now possible to realize "chrome-like finishes" also in coil coating applications.

Decomet® MirrorCoil is available in the shades: Platinum, Silver and Chrome.

Due to its flawless surface realized in a vacuum environment, Decomet® MirrorCoil accomplishes highly reflective coatings. Depending on the applied type, Decomet® MirrorCoil enables the user to create platinum, silver or chrome-like surfaces.

Application fields of Decomet® MirrorCoil

Decomet® MirrorCoil is suited for manifold applications where the production is based on coil coating plates. One example would be household appliances with a desired effect of resembling stainless steel. It goes without saying that Decomet® MirrorCoil can also be used in architecture, e.g. with blinds and facades.
