Rohm and Haas Introduces New Acrylic Technology For Flat to Semigloss Architectural Paints

Published on 2007-03-19. Author : SpecialChem

Philadelphia, PA -- Rohm and Haas has announced the launch of Rhoplex™ VSR-1050 acrylic emulsion-a performance-driven binder based on new advanced acrylic technology with a unique polymer architecture and ambient crosslinking durability.

Rhoplex VSR-1050 emulsion raises the performance of interior and exterior flat to semigloss architectural paints to a new level. Paints based on the new binder provide outstanding early block and film hardness, excellent household stain removal, very good abrasive scrub resistance, and excellent alkyd adhesion. In addition, the low coalescent demand enables paint formulators to meet the strictest VOC requirements in North America with performance that exceeds conventional emulsion technology.

Rhoplex VSR-1050 acrylic emulsion is the latest in a line of innovative binders based on advanced technology from Rohm and Haas. For further information, contact your Rohm and Haas representative.
