PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Rohm and Haas has launched a new
innovative binder, Duraplus MP Emulsion, to the North American floor finish
market. This new multi-purpose, styrene-acrylic water-borne copolymer
can be formulated to meet the toughest current and pending VOC standards.
Floor finishes based on Rhoplex MP emulsion are recommended for periodic
and high-maintenance environments, such as supermarkets, non-food retail,
and office building lobbies. They provide outstanding appearance, gloss
retention, superior repairability, recoatability, and are APEO free. Floor
finish manufacturers can formulate polishes that can be applied at floor
temperatures of 50º F. (10º C.) and above.
Duraplus MP emulsion is part of a broad line of Rohm and Haas high-performance,
