Pidithane® PU 725 is a new generation polyurethane thickener in Pidilite’s range of rheology modifiers. This is solvent-free, APEO-free hydrophobically modified polyether-based thickener recommended for water-based paint.
Properties of Pidithane® PU 725

Offers a unique Newtonian rheology profile, performing strongly at medium shear rates while contributing significantly at high shear rates.

It is independent of pH, compatible with wide range of acrylic, styrene acrylic, VAM based emulsion.

It can be used in interior/ exterior emulsion paint. It can also be used in Clear coats.

It imparts superior flow & leveling to paints than conventional natural or synthetic thickeners.

Pidithane® PU 725 reduces roller spatter there by reducing paint wastage while application.

It Improves film build, water resistance as well as color acceptance of coating.
