Published on 2007-09-10. Author : SpecialChem

Philadelphia, PA -- Rohm and Haas has announced the launch of a new KU-building rheology modifier based on new technology developed by the company. Acrysol™ RM-895 is a solvent-free, nonionic, HEUR rheology modifier that provides outstanding viscosity stability upon colorant addition with dramatically improved sag resistance and no loss of flow or levelling.

Acrysol™ RM-895 rheology modifier is highly efficient and exhibits enhanced viscosity stability to colorant addition when compared to existing HEUR thickeners. It provides formulators with excellent sag resistance in tinted paints as well as excellent flow and leveling. Interior and exterior paints containing Acrysol™ RM-895 rheology modifier have uniform film formation and excellent gloss development.
