Coatex won the prestigious Ringier Coatings Technology Innovation Award in the "additives" category. This distinction rewards the Bumper technology™ and particularly the dispersant Coadis™ BR 85.

The Ringier awards are given annually to a selection of innovative products, technologies, or processes. They recognize companies for their contribution to the coatings industry in China, such as technical innovation, improved productivity, economic efficiency and market opportunity creation. Ringier Technology Innovation Awards are regarded as one of the most important awards in China's coating industry.

This award was granted to Coatex for its Bumper Technology™, a flexible technology platform that represents a real breakthrough for water based paints.

The Coadis™ BR 85 caught the attention of the jury thanks to its efficiency in TiO2 particle dispersion.

"Coatex is proud to receive the Ringier Award for 2014," said Olivier Richet, Coatex Asia Pacific Managing Director. "We continuously invest in new technologies. Recognition of these efforts is welcome as we continue to expand our tech support and production in China."

"This technical breakthrough results from a good understanding of paints market combined with our experience in the dispersion and stabilization of minerals", added François Court, Coatex group Marketing Director.
