Coatex Exhibits its Rheology Additives for Waterborne Formulations at Chinacoat 2014

Coatex is a world-leading designer and producer of waterborne rheology additives. Rheology additives are used to improve performances across the entire value chain of paints and coatings. With other BU’s of the Arkema Group, Coatings Resins and Sartomer, Coatex will present its solutions to the Asian Paints and Coatings market at the 19th Chinacoat exhibition to be held in Guangzhou, China on December 3-5 2014, Hall 10.2, Zone 1, Booth 10.2B25-40.

Alongside with the Arkema R&D center recently opened in Changshu, Coatex continues to develop its Asian application laboratory for Paints and Coatings. The team, dedicated to technical support, provides to Customers the speed and the understanding of local needs they are looking for.

« These commitments and ambitions on asian market drive us today to propose two new technical subjects”, comments Olivier Richet, Head of Coatex Asia Pacific.

• Demonstrating how Rheology and rheological additives contribute to cope with the challenges of Coatings formulators is the first of Coatex technical seminars at Chinacoat.

“Rheology Course – Coatex additives in Paints applications ” December 4th, Room 110   14:30-15:20 by Dr Denis Ruhlmann.

• A specific focus on innovative solutions to improve water resistance of waterborne coatings, clear market need currently in Asia, will be the subject of a second technical seminar.

“Improving Water Resistance with Coatex Rheology additives” December 4th, Room 111 15:30-16:20 by Michelle Shen. 

Coatex Sales and Technical Assistance will be present at the Arkema booth (n°10.2B25-40) for technical discussions and exchanges.
