On the occasion of the 2010 PAINTINDIA, Coatex exhibits its latest innovations for the Paint and Coatings industry.

With over 30 years experience, Coatex is one of the world's leading producers of rheological additives for aqueous formulations. At PAINTINDIA, Coatex is introducing its high performance and eco-friendly product range to the local market, including COAPUR™(HEUR), solvent free and heavy metal free polyurethane thickeners; ECODIS™, acrylic dispersing agents; and RHEOTECH™, acrylic associative thickeners combining differentiated rheology performance with excellent eco-profiles.

"In the decorative coating sector (paint, woodstain, filler, rendering, etc), Coatex offers a full range of products and technical solutions to ensure customers the best color acceptance, storage stability, and water resistance," said Sundaram Krishnan, Coatex's Business Development Manager in India. "These waterborne synthetic rheology modifiers consist of multicompatible solutions for easy formulations as they will either increase the fluidity of the medium (dispersing agents) or increase its viscosity (thickeners). They perform effectively at low levels in aqueous formulations before, during and after application. These technologies are now available in India from Coatex and our partner & distributor Omya!"
