BYK Chemie has launched NANOBYK®-3812 an Inorganic UV absorber for solvent-borne systems

The cerium oxide nanoparticles act as a long-term UV absorber and stabilize solvent-borne coatings against discoloration and degradation. The additive is especially recommended for aqueous architectural coatings. Combination with the zinc oxide based NANOBYK®-3842 covers a wider UV spectrum.
