Yoon Takes Lead of Eastman Coatings in Asia Pacific

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Brian Yoon has been appointed as the general manager for Asia Pacific coatings and inks in Eastman Chemical Company's coatings, adhesives, specialty polymers and inks (CASPI) business organization.

Yoon joined Eastman in 1988, and during his tenure, he has held a variety of positions with increasing responsibility to include business market manager of performance chemicals business, supervisor of product management and planning, Asia Pacific sales and market manager of the adhesives and polymers business, and general manager of Qilu Eastman Specialty Chemicals Ltd. in Zibo, China.

Prior to joining Eastman, Yoon spent three years with Doosan Industrial Company as a sales and marketing representative for Eastman and BYK-Chemie products. Yoon then joined BASF Korea Ltd. where he spent two years as deputy sales and market manager of specialty chemicals for the Korean market.

Yoon earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and chemical engineering from Sogang University in Seoul, Korea in 1982, and received his MBA from the Sogang Business School in 1994.
