VitroTech Corp. Announces Appointment of New Directors

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- VitroTech Corp. (OTCBB:VROT - News) announced the appointment of Jim Lasry, Howie Fialkov and Antony Gordon to its board of directors, the election of Lasry as chairman of the board and the retirement of John Sutherland and Larry Poland as directors. The company also announced the appointment of Timothy Halsey as chairman of the audit committee and the appointment of John Sutherland, following his retirement, as an advisor to the board.

Jim Lasry brings over 30 years of management experience in a broad array of industries around the world, having served in multiple family businesses. Lasry family businesses and holdings date back over 50 years when Lasry's great uncle began accumulating major positions in a broad array of companies and Lasry's father co-founded Olympia Tiles USA, a company associated with Olympia Tiles Canada, a predecessor of Olympia & York. In addition to his extensive involvement in family businesses and holdings, for 15 years ending in the early 1990s, Lasry served as assistant to the chairman of Group Le Refug, a multi-billion dollar conglomerate based in Paris.

Howie Fialkov is a private investor involved in the management of a diverse portfolio of investments in private and public companies and real estate and interests in various family-owned businesses. Fialkov's family holdings include extensive real estate holdings in Ontario, Canada, and Florida. Fialkov's family has developed, owned and managed over 6 million square feet of commercial real estate as well as thousands of residential apartment units and previously owned one of the largest electrical contractors in Ontario, Canada.

Antony Gordon has served as managing director of MFS Capital, a boutique merchant banking and investment banking firm since 2001. Previously, Gordon was senior vice president at Morgan Stanley from 1999 to 2001 and an investment executive at UBS/Paine Webber Inc. from 1995 to 1998. Gordon holds a B.A. and LL.B from the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and an LL.M specializing in Intellectual Property Law from Harvard Law School where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Glenn Easterbrook, chief executive officer of VitroTech, stated: "We are pleased to have Messrs. Lasry, Fialkov and Gordon join our board of directors.
