The Luperox® Organic Peroxides Business of Arkema Inc. Announces Three New Key Appointments

Tim McKinney has been appointed to the position of market manager for the high polymers segment of the business. Tim has replaced Leo Kasehagen, who was recently promoted to business manager in the Additives group.

Most recently, Tim was an account manager for Organic Peroxides based in Houston, Texas. He brings to Arkema over 15 years of experience in sales and sales management, market development, and manufacturing. Before joining Arkema Inc., Tim worked as a chemical business development manager for Fisher Scientific, LLC in Houston. He has also held positions at High Touch-High Tech; a science consulting service which he founded, and Clariant Corporation, where he worked as a regional sales and account manager.

Tim holds an MBA in International Business from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, Texas, and a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Houston.

Tim is located in the Houston area.

Joe Killen has joined the business as account manager responsible for organic peroxides to the paint and coatings market and select high polymers accounts.

Joe comes to Arkema with seven years experience, most recently from Sherwin Williams, where he held the position of new business development manager. Before Sherwin Williams, Joe held the position of sales account manager for LG Philips Displays.

Joe holds a B.A. degree in criminology from The Ohio State University and an M.B.A. from Findlay University in Ohio.

Joe will work out of the Cleveland area. From this location, in the heart of the coatings industry, Joe will have close account responsibility for the major global coatings players.

Jaclyn Sekula has joined the business as the commercial development specialist. Jaclyn will begin her tenure defining and acquiring new organic peroxides business for Benzoyl Peroxide specialties. Some of the target markets include pharmaceutical, cosmetics and personal care.

Jaclyn joins the Organic Peroxides group after three rotations within the Arkema family. During that time, she gained experience in finance, marketing, and technical service and worked with the technical polymers (Kynar®) and fluorochemicals (Forane®) businesses.

Jaclyn holds a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. degree in International Studies, both from Lafayette College. During those studies, Jaclyn also gained international insight by completing two study abroad experiences, one in Brussels and one in Paris.
