Success for OEM-coatings of BASF Coatings in Russia

Muenster / Togliatti -- AvtoVAZ, one of the leading Russian automobile manufacturers, has awarded a prize to OOO BASF- Wostok, the subsidiary of BASF Coatings AG in Russia, as the best coatings supplier in 2006. The ceremony took place on the annual conference of AvtoVAZ's suppliers held in Togliatti from 5 to 6 April.

The diploma presented to BASF- Wostok on the conference means that the company is among the best 31 suppliers of the car manufacturer's total 700 suppliers. Prizes were awarded according to following criteria: quality, customer service and innovation. BASF-Wostok was hailed for its long and successful cooperation with AvtoVAZ; the customer was impressed by the extensive range of products, the quality of paint materials and the logistic networks.

The BASF-Wostok team (production site in Pavlovsky Posad) covers responsibilities such as material management, disposition and the logistics for the entire supply process. During this daily work together, the partnership between two companies triggers a lot of ideas that can be developed and implemented consistently.

BASF-Wostok is committed to being the premier provider of solutions for the automotive industry, not only by delivering superior products, but also by providing innovative technological solutions and application processes.

The award also recognizes the day-to-day work of BASF-Wostok employees which was a particularly valuable contribution to the boosting the efficiency of the supply process. Best results in the work with AvtoVAZ gained Marina Limacheva, the member of BASF-Wostok sales team in Pavlovsky Posad, and Maxim Dragunkin, technical specialist responsible for application process.
