CHICAGO -- Sherwin-Williams continues its collaboration with The Robert Allen Group, a leading designer and marketer of decorative fabrics and furnishings for the interior design trade, by offering a suggested palette of complementary paint colors to coordinate with Robert Allen's latest Color Library upholstery and multipurpose fabric collections.

This year's collection features an underlying theme of natural colors with a mixed palette of blues, yellows and greens, along with neutral accent colors of taupe's, linens and golds. Forty-five Sherwin-Williams colors are suggested for Robert Allen's new spring fabric lines: Chambray, Aloe, Greystone, Indigo and Amber.

"We are always so inspired by Robert Allen's fabrics and enjoy working together each year to share the latest fabric and color trends with design professionals," said Jackie Jordan, director of color marketing for Sherwin-Williams. "The new collection allows us to share some of the color inspirations behind the fabric collections, giving designers even more resources for their projects."

Five new color cards are available with a palette of nine complementary wall colors for each Color Library book. For example, the Indigo line is coordinated with Sherwin-Williams vibrant blue Denim (SW 6523) and soft neutral Alabaster (SW 7008), while the Chambray line features the calming green hue Haven (SW 6437) and a warm Sunbeam Yellow (SW 0078).

"Our goal in working with Sherwin-Williams is to help professionals streamline the design process," says Christy Almond, operating vice president, fabric design for Robert Allen. "Our partnership has been incredibly successful and I always look forward to combining our shared color trend knowledge and bringing it together for the design industry."

Within its partnership, Sherwin-Williams has Color Studios at Robert Allen | Beacon Hill showrooms in Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, and New York where designers can access Sherwin-Williams color cards and its complete professional color library. In addition, Sherwin-Williams color cards and tools are available to designers at all of the other 14 Robert Allen | Beacon Hill showrooms.
