Sartomer Company to Increase Prices of its Hydrocarbon Resins in October

EXTON, Pa. -- Global specialty chemicals manufacturer Sartomer Company will increase the list and off-list prices of its hydrocarbon resins as of October 1, 2005.

The company's Wingtack® hydrocarbon resins will increase by 8 cents per pound.

Sartomer's Norsolene® resins will increase by 5 cents per pound. This increase is due to the rising costs of raw materials and energy and will affect customers in North America, Latin America, and Asia.

Sartomer's Norsolene and Wingtack hydrocarbon resins are used as raw materials for coatings, adhesives, inks, elastomers, and other applications.
