Mobley is a well-respected, customer-driven, family-owned company with an excellent safety culture and over 35 years of experience. “By bringing our solid, high-performing companies together, we can deliver the best value throughout the Gulf Region,” says Chuck Mobley, President of Mobley. “Safway can leverage Mobley’s coatings expertise, and Mobley can offer its customers Safway’s vast access, scaffold and insulation expertise. I am especially happy that this combination of our businesses is about growth – not cost reductions – and that Safway values and needs our full team. We’re a great fit culturally and strategically for Safway.”

Acquiring Mobley, one of the largest, independently-owned coatings companies in North America, is part of Safway’s strategy for growing the delivery of scaffolding, insulation, painting, coating and abatement (SIPA) services to refineries, petrochemical, power plants and other industrial customers. “Safway has invested significant resources to enhance safety, locations, infrastructure, fleet and personnel, including opening a new hiring center in the Gulf Region to better serve this important market and position ourselves for the anticipated exponential growth in the area,” explained Hayes. “By joining forces with Mobley, we will be able to deliver even better access, scaffold, insulation and coatings expertise across North America. We value Mobley’s team and capabilities – their people, professional expertise, customer reach, as well as their locations and footprint.”
