Rohm and Haas has announced price increases for acrylates and methacrylates in U.S.A.

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Rohm And Haas Company has announced that, with continued cost pressures, it is increasing off-list Price Increase ($/lb.) in the United States and Canada as contract terms allow, for acrylate, methacrylate and specialty monomers as shown below, effective October 1, 2007:

  • Acrylates Category:
    • Butyl Acrylate (BA), Ethyl Acrylate (EA), Glacial Acrylic Acid (GAA), 2-Ethyl Hexyl Acrylate (2-EHA) : $0.05 / lb.
  • Methacrylates Category:
    • Methyl Methacrylate (MMA), Glacial Methacrylic Acid (GMAA), Butyl Methacrylate (BMA) : $0.05 / lb.
  • Hydroxy Acrylates Category:
    • Hydroxyethyl Acrylate (HEA), Hydroxypropyl Acrylate (HPA) : $0.05 / lb.
  • Hydroxy Methacrylates Category:
    • Hydroxyethyl Methacrylate (HEMA), Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate (HPMA) : $0.05 / lb.
