Frankfurt, German -- Rohm and Haas' Architectural and Functional Coatings group is announcing another European wide price increase of 10% on its whole product range, effective September 1, 2004.

This further price increase is due to continuing sharp increases in raw materials used by the Architectural and Functional Coatings business, driven by the high price of oil and natural gas, geopolitical uncertainties and tight supply.

Customers will be notified directly of the impact of these price changes on the specific products they purchase.
