PPG is displaying its cutting-edge powder coatings for metal fabricators at FABTECH 2021 in Chicago, Illinois, Sept. 13-16.
Coating for Architectural Extrusions and Sheet Aluminum
Among the featured powder innovations will be PPG ENVIROCRON™ Extreme Protection Edge coating, PPG Envirocron High Transfer Efficiency (HTE) coating and PPG CORAFLON® Platinum coating, which is a new fluoropolymer
powder coating for architectural extrusions and sheet aluminum. PPG also will showcase its expertise in color and corrosion protection with electro-coat (e-coat), pretreatment and liquid coatings solutions.
Representatives from PPG’s coatings services business will be on hand to answer questions about the company’s protective coatings application services and equipment design and installation capabilities.

PPG Coraflon Platinum coating – The latest addition to PPG’s fluoropolymer coatings, offering an extended gloss range from five to 85 and the industry’s highest levels of corrosion and weathering resistance
Specifically formulated without solvents, PPG's family of specialty powder coatings include low-cure, high-transfer efficiency and one-coat extreme protection for sharp edges in more than 200 colors.
Kathryn Shaffer, PPG global technology platform manager, will discuss extreme edge coverage and corrosion protection during the show’s “Advancements in Powder Coating Materials” technical workshop on Sept. 15 from 8–9:30 a.m.
